Gabbi Flachs, the owner of Mathnasium of Flemington, has a deep-rooted passion for mathematics and education. With seven years of experience as a math teacher, Gabbi's journey into the world of Mathnasium began when she worked at a nearby Mathnasium center. She earned her Master's of Education while teaching and taught through some of the toughest times in the educational industry. Her firsthand experience with the transformative impact of the Mathnasium program inspired her to purchase the Flemington center when it became available in 2023.

Gabbi's enthusiasm for math and dedication to fostering a love for the subject in students have been pivotal in her decision to own and operate her own Mathnasium. "I have seen how Mathnasium is changing kids' lives through raising up their math ability and fostering a love for math that they might not have seen elsewhere. This is truly the best experience being able to own my own business to support my family but also support this community and bring back a love of math!" She believes in the program's ability to elevate students' math skills and ignite a newfound appreciation for the subject, truly changing the lives of her students.

In the early stages of her business, Gabbi received invaluable support from her SCORE mentor through the Hunterdon Chamber of Commerce. This mentor played a crucial role in connecting her with the community, brainstorming ideas, and providing guidance throughout her first year as a business owner. "Ray from the Hunterdon SCORE chapter, has been such a huge support in transitioning from a teacher to a business owner. His knowledge and experience has given me peace of mind when making decisions for my business and truly learning how to best navigate the business world. I am so thankful for his support and the opportunity to work with him as well as our Chamber of Commerce!"
